Concerns about laser safety has been recently voiced out in Singapore. News reporters came to Sintec Optronics office to conduct an interview for the news to educate the public about the safe use of lasers, including the popular green laser pointers. In Singapore, sales and operation of 5 mW lasers require government permits. End users of such lasers need to apply for license. The Singapore government maintains strict regulations, but the application procedure is simple and convenient.
